RHEA 800 Timonier
The new RHEA 800 Timonier, designed by Bertrand Danglade, comes between the RHEA 750 Timonier and RHEA 850 Timonier, launched with great success in Summer 2005 (over 50 now sold). Faithful to the tradition that´s made this yard such a success, the RHEA 800 is immediately recognizable with its silhouette like a small trawler, `walkaround´ deck layout, coloured hull, and semi-planing hull from architects Joubert-Nivelt.
The level of facilities and the below-decks comfort is inspired by the RHEA 850 Timonier: a forward cabin with V-shaped double berth, a head with separate shower and sea toilet allow short-term cruising. The saloon, complete with galley, is situated in the wheelhouse. A dinette seats 4 people comfortably and converts into a double berth. The driving position has a sliding door to starboard, making for easy deck access. It is also being offered in a twin-engined version, allowing easy beaching on the two small keels offering effective protection for the propellers and rudders.
